The Allokate Origin Story—Meet Kate

Finding My Path Through Challenges

I didn’t always know I’d end up here, helping others streamline their businesses and regain control. My journey started on a very different path—as an athlete driven by performance and discipline.

But life threw me a curveball. After facing unexpected health challenges, I had to pivot. It wasn’t just about adapting physically; it was about rethinking my goals entirely.

"Sometimes the hardest setbacks become the foundation for your greatest breakthroughs."

Kate Coutherut | Founder of Allokate Integrative Solutions

I blend integrative health coaching with business savvy to help people who need it most—YOU, US, PEOPLE. Whether it’s simplifying the complicated, organizing the messy, or finding clarity in the chaos, I’m here to help. And I do it all with humor, grit, and a healthy dose of “let’s make it happen.”

Growing Up as an Athlete

I've always been someone who needs to be active. I loved sports, challenges, and pushing my limits. I dabbled in soccer, swam competitively, and fell in love with field hockey. Field hockey wasn't just a sport for me—it was a community of strong, driven, slightly kooky (but absolutely badass) people.

I was never the BEST player but played in college, earning awards like "most improved" and "most coachable." Honestly, those are just polite ways of saying I didn't know what I was doing at first but figured it out. My coaches cared deeply, and the experience taught me resilience, teamwork, and the value of showing up and giving it my all—lessons I've carried into every chapter of my life.

Diagnosed, Medicated, and Complicated Since 5th Grade

I used to chase a diagnosis—desperate for validation, desperate to be believed. Maybe it was part ADHD hyperfocus, or maybe it was being a young woman with unexplained symptoms and feeling constantly ignored. I'd walk away from appointments replaying every word, wishing I'd said things differently—better, clearer—so they'd understand. So they'd hear me.

Diagnosed with ADHD in 5th grade—medicated and complicated ever since—it's been both a challenge and a gift. ADHD shaped how I approached school, sports, and eventually my career. Imagine trying to stay focused while your brain is basically a browser with 100 tabs open. But I thrived under pressure and loved solving puzzles—especially ones that didn't come with instructions. That drive and curiosity have been constants in my life.

Over time, I realized something important: diagnostics aren't everything. Labels don't fix the problem. The goal was never the diagnosis itself—it was always about finding support, answers, and a way forward.

Becoming a Mom Early

I became a mom at 21—right around the time my last college field hockey season wrapped up. My son has been the biggest blessing in my life, but being a young mom in 2011 was tough.

Let's be real: Instagram moms with color-coordinated playrooms weren't a thing yet, so I was just winging it. Balancing motherhood, work, and personal growth wasn't easy, and my mental and physical health often took a back seat.

I pushed through the chaos, figuring things out as I went, but the experience gave me a deeper understanding of what it means to feel overwhelmed—and how important it is to have support and guidance.

Battling Health Challenges and Finding My Path

I spent years struggling with chronic health issues—pelvic pain, migraines, IBS, and more. Without health insurance, I racked up medical debt and spent way too much time in ERs for infections and ruptured ovarian cysts. Picture me sitting in a waiting room, googling my symptoms on WebMD and convincing myself I had a rare tropical disease—good times. I was anxious, depressed, and running on fumes while working late nights in restaurants and bars.

But along the way, I met people who inspired me—I started to become more interested in health and wellness, not just for myself but as a way to help others. I realized that my experiences, as challenging as they were, had equipped me with
